Scaling the peaks for Cancer Research

25 July 2013 | Tim Hallac

OneGTM’s director, Phil Brown, recently completed the extremely arduous (at least that’s what he says) 3 Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

The challenge involves climbing the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours. Overcoming the added challenges of traffic delays, muscle strains and the inevitable blisters, Phil managed to complete the challenge with 15 minutes to spare. Well done Phil! If anybody would like to contribute to Phil’s fundraising efforts you can do so via his Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com/phil-Brown-3-Peaks. All contributions go to Cancer Research UK.

(BTW we’ve promised not to mention how funny he looked trying to walk up and down a flight of stairs a couple of days after the event)
