The client

The C-MAR Group is the industry-leading global marine offshore and DP services provider, delivering vessel management, crew management, subsea (BOP) engineering and DP training and consultancy services.

Their requirement

As a specialist provider of DP consultancy, C-MAR were considered a niche player in the market. They wanted to position themselves as the go-to provider in the offshore sector and widen their reach in the marketplace. To do this, they needed to reposition themselves as a trusted partner to all segments of the offshore industry – oil majors, finance houses, charterers and crew supply.

 

We developed a messaging framework to better articulate their full service offerings.We also worked with C-MAR to create a new brand framework with a distinctive fin device that helped them stand out in a very crowded and undifferentiated marketplace. Once we had delivered the brand framework, we developed a range of go-to market tools – from websites through to brochures, a sales deck and event materials. We also developed a content marketing plan and a range of go-to-market tools, with the new C-MAR website being the first public-facing output of our brand development work.
